Continuous Louvres

Continuous Louvres are engineered to provide advanced shading, glare reduction, and privacy control, offering both manual and automated solutions. Ideal for areas with specific building design constraints, such as wind exposure or non-retractable settings, they offer robust protection and can be customised to suit a wide range of applications.

Control Options:

  • Electric Motor Control: A single motor can control up to three coupled blinds, covering a total area of up to 18m², depending on the size and design.
  • Manual Control: Operated by hand using a handle or knob, ideal for smaller louvre areas (up to 15m²). The gear winder can be operated through varying transition connectors, either internally or externally.

Automatic Controls:

  • Large-scale Control: Up to 6,400 motors can be controlled simultaneously, with local override functionality.
  • Customisable Programming: Control systems can be tailored to the project’s needs, with the ability to adjust the angle of the louvres according to the Solar Angle of Incidence (SAI) throughout the day for any geographical location.
  • Sun and Wind Sensors: These sensors automatically adjust the louvres based on local weather conditions, optimising solar heat gain and glare reduction.
  • Flexible Integration: The system can interface with other Building Management Systems (BMS), allowing for control of multiple shading devices on the same platform.

Construction and Materials:

  • Rack Arms: Extruded aluminium rack arms support UV-stabilised nylon tilt operating pivot mechanisms. Available in three versions to suit various building limitations.
  • Blades: High strength extruded aluminium blades designed to withstand harsh weather conditions.
  • Finishes: Both blades and rack arms can be powder-coated or anodised in a range of colours. The drive shaft is finished in anodised aluminium only for durability.

Adjustable, Frameless Design:

  • Non-Retractable Shading System: Ideal for settings where retractable blinds are not suitable due to slope, shape, or wind conditions.
  • Robust Build: Precision-engineered for rigidity and wind resistance, these louvres are particularly well-suited for exposed environments.
  • Aesthetic Appeal: The curved aluminium blades are designed to match the appearance of the MV80C external venetian blinds, allowing seamless integration between these two systems on the same project.

Key points

  • Customisable Finish: Any powder coat or anodised colour can be used for blades and rack arms.
  • Durable Design: Extruded aluminium blades offer strength and wind resistance, ideal for various weather conditions.
  • Control Options: Electric Operation: Controlled via switches, remote control, or fully automated systems. Manual Operation: Available for easier control. European Motors: High-quality, precision-engineered motors.
  • Versatile Louvres: Blades can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or at any intermediate angle. Can be custom fabricated for unique window shapes (triangular, circular, trapezoidal, rhombus, etc.).
  • Optimal Functionality: Provides excellent dim-out control. Louvres can rotate through 90° to control heat, glare, and view. Ideal for both internal and external installations.
  • Energy Efficiency: Reduces internal heat gain by up to 90%, improving air conditioning efficiency and reducing running costs.
  • Low Maintenance: Requires minimal upkeep aside from cleaning.
  • Privacy Control: Ensures complete privacy when desired.
